KEY POINTS:
A man has been charged with two bank robberies in Petone and Upper Hutt.
The man, 23, is to appear in Lower Hutt District Court charged with yesterday's robbery at the Westpac Bank in Petone and the ANZ Bank in Upper Hutt on June 23.
Detective Sergeant Brent Murray, of Lower Hutt CIB, said the man was also wanted on warrant for several burglary and vehicle offences in the upper North Island.
