A man has been charged over a crash in April that killed a Helensville mother and left her husband and three children injured.
Alofaifo Afaese, 40, died when the Mitsubishi Pajero in which she was travelling in with her husband and children was involved in a head-on collision with a Subaru on State Highway 16 west of Kumeu on April 17.
A 59 year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death and four charges of dangerous driving causing injury.
He will appear in the Waitakere District Court on August 28.
