A Levin man has been charged with killing a mother of five who died after falling off the back bumper of a moving stationwagon.
Police said today that a 30-year-old man had been arrested and charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Rosslene White, 35, of Levin.
She was seriously injured in the accident in Liverpool Street, Levin, on July 17 and died later in Palmerston North Hospital.
Police said earlier that Ms White climbed on to the back bumper of the stationwagon in an attempt to stop the driver leaving after an argument.
They allege the man drove at least a kilometre before the woman fell off, hitting her head.
