A man charged with the manslaughter of Paul Kingi, who fell to his death from the balcony of an Auckland apartment, has been bailed to reappear in court next week.
Barry Harwood, 65, appeared for a call-over in the High Court at Auckland today accused of the killing of Paul Stewart Kingi, 57, on March 10.
He was remanded on bail to reappear in the High Court on August 18. He has yet to enter a plea.
Michael Manga, 37, is also charged with Mr Kingi's manslaughter.
Manga has previously pleaded not guilty.
A trial date has been set for June 7 next year.
Mr Kingi died from blunt force head trauma after he fell from a balcony at Pt England, 14km southeast of downtown Auckland.
