Man charged after woman found dead in Mangere

Police have arrested a 33-year-old man and charged him with murder after a woman was found dead at a South Auckland address last night.


Counties-Manukau police launched a homicide investigation after they found the woman's body at a house in Mangere about 8.30pm.


Police said the incident was believed to be domestic.


The man is due to appear in the Manukau District Court today.


Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the investigation.
