Hall was on bail for this offence when he was caught driving again, this time in Wanganui on the morning of November 11, 2011.
He was charged with further counts of driving while disqualified third or subsequent, failure to stop for police third or subsequent, dangerous driving and refusing a request for blood third of subsequent, and unlawfully taking a motorvehicle.
On November ll, Hall was driving a Ford Courier ute on Eastown Rd when he was signalled to stop by police.
The ute, valued at $5000, was stolen from a Raetihi address on August 26, 2011.
Hall did not stop, instead speeding away with police in pursuit on to State Highway 4. He was seen speeding through a residential area with a 50km/h speed limit on to the open road at an estimated speed of 150km/h.
Just outside the Upokongaro township he lost control of the vehicle on loose gravel from road works and slid sideways before regaining control.
He continued speeding through the township, turning off into the Whanganui River Rd, where the pursuit was called off due to safety concerns on the narrow winding road.
The ute was found a short time later with a woman in the passenger seat, and a pile of clothing by the open door.
A police dog tracked Hall's scent and he was found, clad only in his underpants, a short distance away.
Police noticed he had been drinking, but he refused to be breath or blood tested for alcohol.
He told police he had not been driving the ute.
Judge Ross told Hall he had a "shocking" driving record, and put himself and other road users at risk.
He gave him a discount for his guilty pleas, but told him his driving was at the top end in terms of dangerous driving and it was a miracle that there was not more harm done, particularly in the Wanganui incident.
