A Napier man has been arrested and charged with criminal nuisance after allegedly climbing the city's Telecom tower three times over the weekend.
A man climbed a tree and across a barbed wire fence to get to the 40m tower on Shakespeare Rd once on Saturday and then again on Sunday, said Sergeant Ian Evans of Napier police.
A 36-year-old man was charged with criminal nuisance and will appear in Napier District Court on Wednesday.
