A man who suffered burns to his body after a jetski exploded at a factory in Auckland is now in a stable condition.
Emergency services were called to an explosion at a building on Atkinson Ave, in Otahuhu, at about 9.30pm yesterday.
A man was taken to Middlemore Hospital in a moderate condition after suffering burns.
A spokeswoman for the hospital this morning said: "He is stable and doing well."
Northern fire communications spokesman Jaron Philips said the explosion caused the jetski to burst into flames inside the building where it was stored.
