Man breaks leg in forestry accident

A man badly broke his leg this morning while felling a tree on a farm at Omakere, near Waipukurau.

The man, whose leg was crushed when the tree fell on it, was flown to Hawke's Bay Hospital in the Lowe Corporation rescue helicopter.
