KEY POINTS:
A man charged with allowing a house in Hei Hei Road -- the scene of an explosion last week -- to be used for methamphetamine manufacture, has appeared in Christchurch District Court.
Craig Thomas Reinke, 45, unemployed, was remanded on bail to April 11 by Judge Michael Crosbie. He was ordered to report twice weekly to the police during the remand.
He did not plead to the charge, nor to a second charge of possession of the class A drug morphine.
Police issued a statement on Friday saying that they wished to speak to Reinke, and his girlfriend, who both lived in the house where the explosion happened.
One man was hospitalised with injuries sustained in the explosion. Another woman was arrested and appeared in court last week, and it is believed a third man will appear in court tomorrow.
