A man is in hospital with serious injuries after shots fired during an argument between family members near Rotorua.
The armed offenders squad was called to a Hauparu Bay home at Lake Rotoiti after the incident on Saturday evening.
Rotorua police were yesterday silent about details as they continued their investigation. But Detective Senior Sergeant Tim Anderson said the matter was a feud between family members.
