A Hamilton man is off for a scan next week to confirm if he has three extra kidneys.
Brigham Nordstrom was admitted to hospital with a kidney infection earlier this week.
Tests have suggested he has a double kidney on one side of his body, and a triple kidney on the other side.
Mr Nordstrom says he is now waiting for an MRI scan to confirm the rare discovery.
He says doctors have told him there is nothing wrong with his extra organs.
