KEY POINTS:
A man who allegedly held a knife to a bus driver and ran off with the cash box in Hamilton has been arrested.
Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Page said assistance from the public helped with the arrest of the 18 year-old man yesterday afternoon.
He said the hold-up happened on Saxbys Rd on Wednesday night.
Mr Page said the bus driver was not physically hurt and there were no other passengers on the bus at the time.
The man has been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
He also faces a charge of the unlawful taking of a vehicle over an unrelated incident and will appear in the Hamilton District Court today.
