A 36-year-old man will appear in the Auckland District Court on Monday to face two charges of indecency, after allegedly exposing himself to young woman on Auckland trains.
The Glen Eden man was arrested yesterday as a result of Auckland City Police working together the company that operates Auckland's passenger rail network and Auckland Transport to identify him.
Police say that on two occasions, the man is alleged to have sat close to the young women, before exposing himself.
"We're really pleased that this man has been caught, and this should send a message to anyone else considering committing a crime on our rail network - you will be caught" says Senior Sergeant David Hines.
"We also often find the same people are coming into the city, committing property crime offences, and then training home again, our rail network is not going to be a vehicle for crime and criminals can expect to be apprehended."
