Police have named the victim of a fatal shooting in Manurewa at he weekend, and have charged the man wanted in connection with the incident.
Leslie Putt, 32, has been named as the man who died at the scene of the fatal shooting about 8.30am Saturday.
After his death, police began looking for 23-year-old Bodie McKee.
Counties Manukau Police said McKee was located "without incident" in Takanini this morning, arrested and subsequently charged with murder.
Emergency services were called to a property on Winsford St in Manurewa at about 7.15am on Saturday, where they found a 32-year-old man on the driveway with a gunshot wound.
