A man has been arrested following a spate of smash and grabs which have plagued Te Puke.
A 26-year-old man is expected to appear in the Tauranga District Court this week on 10 charges of burglary.
Te Puke Sergeant Mark Holmes said the charges came after a series of burglaries targeting stores including Paper Plus, Super Clearance, ANZ Bank, Indian Spice and Food, Methodist Opportunity Shop, Te Puke Royal Business School and Mayfair Ice Cream Parlour.
Mr Holmes said a man was tracked by a police dog and arrested following a burglary at Te Puke Countdown supermarket about 3am on New Year's Day.
