A man has been arrested and charged with two counts of indecent assault, and one of committing an indecent act.
The 47-year-old man was allegedly approaching girls in the Mt Albert and Avondale areas, police said.
Police thanked the public for their help in identifying and arresting the man on social media.
He has appeared in the Auckland District Court where he was remanded in custody.
"A big thanks once again to the public for your assistance in helping us keep our community safe," a police spokesman said.
