A man accused of attacking and robbing a tourist in the early hours of last Wednesday has been arrested today.
The 29 year-old German tourist needed medical treatment after he was attacked in Rutherford St, Nelson, at about 3am on February 4.
Nelson Police said the attackers took the visitor's black and red Nike sports bag, in which he'd stored his passport and his wallet, which included cash in Euros.
Police said an 18 year-old Nelson man was arrested for aggravated robbery today and would appear in Nelson District Court on Monday.
The teenager was the second person arrested after the robbery, police said.
