Man arrested after police call-out

A man was arrested yesterday after the Armed Offenders Squad was called out to Huntly.

He faces robbery charges after the stand-off that saw police establish an armed cordon around an address in the north of the town.

The case is linked to the theft of four motorcycles which were stolen earlier that day from Kihikihi. One of the vehicles is valued at around $60,000.
