A man has been arrested after a robbery in Mt Roskill, reportedly involving a knife.
The incident took place at The Warehouse about 12.43pm today.
Police received calls from witnesses who told them the offender was carrying a weapon.
“It was reported a man was carrying a knife and he had stolen an item from the Stoddard Rd store,” a police spokesperson said.
Police say witnesses provided good information about the vehicle the offender left the scene in, which assisted them in their search.
A short time later, with the help from the Police Eagle helicopter, they found the man on a nearby street.
No one was injured.
The man was taken into custody and inquiries are ongoing.
