KEY POINTS:
A man has been arrested after he was seen running away from a scrub fire that halted train services in Parnell this afternoon.
The fire service were at the scene - off Gladstone Rd, near Tamaki Drive - shortly after noon. The fire burnt about 75 square metres of grass and scrub.
Fire officer Steve Patrick said hotspots were still being dampened down. Three fire engines were still at the scene at 1.15pm.
He said trains would restart soon.
