KEY POINTS:
Police have arrested a man who allegedly presented a firearm in a domestic incident in eastern Bay of Plenty.
The Armed Offenders Squad was called out after the alleged incident about 7.00am near Ruatoki, police said.
Upon arrival the man was reported as walking on a road near the address and he was arrested by police from Taneatua and Whakatane.
A 37-year-old man will appear in Whakatane District Court on August 25.
