Man arrested after alleged escape

Tolu Maanaiama has now been arrested.

A man who allegedly escaped police custody in Dunedin today has been relocated and arrested without incident.

Tolu Maanaiama, 27, fled from the Dunedin Central police station this afternoon, police said.

He will appear in court tomorrow.
