A man charged with driving a vehicle which hit and killed a cyclist near Palmerston North last year indicated he would plead guilty when he appeared in Feilding District Court today.
Mother of four Patricia Fraser, 34, was training for the Taupo Cycle Challenge in November and was riding with a friend near Sanson when she was hit from behind by a car allegedly driven by Marton man Christopher David McLelland, 45.
McLelland was charged with careless driving causing death and 3News reported that in the dock today he indicated he would plead guilty.
He was remanded to reappear on February 8.
