A man charged with wounding his nine-month-old daughter during a fight with the girl's mother has made a brief appearance in court.
The 29-year-old Hastings man was charged with wounding with reckless disregard causing grievous bodily harm and two counts of breaching a protection order.
He appeared in Hastings District Court this morning where he was remanded in custody without plea until July 5.
