KEY POINTS:
A third man who denied sex with a 13-year-old schoolgirl has changed his plea to guilty.
Regan Dale Orr, 19, of Edgecumbe, appeared in Whakatane District Court yesterday.
He previously pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexual connection with the girl.
He was remanded to reappear in court to formally enter the new plea.
Orr's associates, Christopher Allen, aged 18, from Whakatane and James Collins, 19, from Edgecumbe, have both been sentenced for their part in the March incident.
Allen was jailed for 16 months and Collins was fined $1500 plus costs and ordered to pay $2000 "emotional" reparation to the victim.
The court was told that the girl was picked up from her home without her parents' knowledge and taken to Allen's home where she was subjected to various forms of sexual activity.
Orr was remanded on bail.
