A Masterton man, 64, was convicted yesterday of historic sex offences involving abuse of two stepchildren and a daughter.
The man, whose name was suppressed to protect the identity of his victims, pleaded guilty to five representative charges, including unlawful sexual connection of a child under 12, indecent assault of a child under 12, indecent assault of a child aged 12-16, and five further indecency charges.
Judge Stephen Harrop said a prison sentence was inevitable. He remanded the man on bail until his sentencing on October 25.
