KEY POINTS:
A man extradited from Australia to face historical sex charges yesterday pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting two young girls. Charles Kenneth Morgan, 83, was to stand trial in the High Court at Wellington but changed his plea. He was extradited in August to face six charges of sex abuse dating back to the 1960s.
The Crown yesterday withdrew the other four charges. One victim was aged 10 and the other was abused several times between the ages of 5 and 9. Morgan was remanded in custody for sentencing next month.
