A Wellington man charged with taking $126,000 from a Catholic high school where he was executive officer made a brief appearance in court today.
David Neil Don, 44, of Vogeltown, is facing eight charges of accessing a computer to obtain a benefit and one charge of money laundering. Don was executive officer at St Patrick's College - the oldest Catholic boys' secondary school in the country.
Earlier this month he intimated a guilty plea to all charges.
At Wellington District Court this morning Judge Patrick Grace remanded Don on bail to reappear on October 31 when he is expected to enter a plea.
