A Pyes Pa man accused of stabbing a 37-year-old Greerton man multiple times in the upper body during an alleged attack at his home has been granted bail.
Joshua Pratt-Keatley, 27, faced three charges when he appeared before Tauranga Community Magistrate Jack Best this morning.
Pratt-Keatley was granted bail on strict conditions. He is yet to plead to one charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and two unrelated charges of assault with intent to injure, and injuring with intent to injure.
Detective Sergeant Alan Kingsbury said the wounding charge related to a man being stabbed at his Rewhiti St, Greerton property overnight on June 5-6.
The other two charges related to a domestic incident on June 14 at another Tauranga address, he said.
