The man accused of robbing a New Plymouth pharmacy at knife point has died in prison over the weekend.
Roger Jordan was remanded in custody last Wednesday for aggravated robbery, after allegedly stealing cash and drugs from the Vogeltown Pharmacy on Monday.
Senior Sergeant Grant Coward said the 44-year-old's death was not suspicious, and investigations will be carried out on behalf of the coroner.
