A man is yet to enter a plea to accusations of killing stock in Whanganui River Rd.
Keegan Borthwick appeared in the Whanganui District Court yesterday charged with two counts of theft of animals and one count of unlawfully carrying a firearm.
Borthwick is alleged to have killed a $150 ewe and a $1200 ram at Parikino on December 24 intending to steal the carcasses.
The 22-year-old Tawhero man will enter a plea at his next appearance on September 13.
