The man charged with kidnapping Hamilton boy Jayden Headley has been admitted to Waikato Hospital.
A Waikato Hospital spokesperson has confirmed Jayden's grandfather, Dick Headley, was admitted to Waikato Hospital';s cardiac unit on Monday.
The 61-year-old is reported to be in a satisfactory condition.
Police spokeswoman Kris McGehan said Headley's bail conditions were subject to change in case of medical emergency.
She said there was a clause allowing him to go to hospital.
A depositions hearing for Dick Headley and his co-accused daughter Kay Skelton is set down for September.
