A 29-year-old man has appeared in an Auckland court charge with aggravated robbery and two charges of assault with intent to rob.
Auckland sickness beneficiary, Aumala Moamalu appeared briefly in the Auckland District Court today.
The charges followed two attempted robberies on Friday afternoon at the Auckland Airport BNZ and Dominion Road ASB and a gunpoint robbery at the Royal Oak Post Shop.
He was remanded in custody without plea until a bail hearing on Friday and police said further charges could be laid.
After information from the public yesterday police searched a central Auckland address and arrested Moamalu.
