A man who allegedly pulled an air pistol on police in Christchurch has handed himself in.
Police were called to a domestic incident at a house in Edgeware about 11.20pm on Saturday.
As they approached the house a 44-year-old man aimed a pistol at officers, but no shots were fired.
The man fled the scene before the Armed Offenders Squad arrived.
An air pistol was found by police.
