A Northland man had to wait in dense bush for over an hour while emergency services tried to reach him after he was shot with an arrow while goat hunting this morning.
The 24-year-old man was hunting with friends for goats in dense bush near Wellsford, when another hunter accidentally shot him in the chest.
The man is in a stable condition in Auckland City Hospital.
