Emergency Services were this afternoon dealing with the after effects of a major storm which hit Auckland.
There were reports of roofs lifting, houses flooding, powerlines arcing and trees coming down following an electrical storm across West Auckland and a mini tornado in Ranui.
Landslips were reported in Swanson and Scenic Drive.
There were also reports of houses flooding on the North Shore.
The Fire Service received between 35 and 40 calls in an hour after about 4pm and was operating under multiple incident procedures.
