A major slip has completely blocked off the road between Omoto and Greymouth this morning.
The slip occurred on Omoto Road, SH7, and currently no traffic is able to get past, police said.
Motorists travelling to Greymouth are able to detour through Taylorville, turning off at Stillwater.
