There is good news for motorists today with all the major oil companies dropping petrol prices by five cents a litre.
It is the third price cut in eight days and petrol is now the cheapest it has been since October last year.
Shell got the ball rolling, dropping all petrol grades five cents a litre. BP, Caltex and Mobil have followed suit with unleaded 91 selling for 157.9 cents per litre. Gull is a cent cheaper.
