One person suffered minor burns in a house fire that has closed Auckland's busy New North Rd in both directions.
Firefighters were called to the unit near the Sainsbury Rd intersection, in suburban Mt Albert, at about 5.30pm.
One person suffered minor burns and was treated by ambulance staff, a Fire Service northern communications spokesman said.
Firefighters have the fire under control.
