A female hotel worker harassed by three England rugby players during their stay in Dunedin has reportedly quit her job.
Annabel Newton, 23, was understood to have quit as a hotel maid at the Scenic Circle Southern Cross on Saturday, according to local media who quoted her friends.
James Haskell, Dylan Hartley and Chris Ashton were reprimanded by England manager Martin Johnson and later apologised for the lewd comments they made to Ms Newton when she went to their room to retrieve a walkie-talkie on September 9.
Newton's friends said she felt unsupported by her employer and staying in her job was untenable, even though she had liked it.
The hotel would not discuss her departure.
