Maharey to announce NZ's biggest new schools project

Education Minister Steve Maharey will tomorrow announce plans to build seven new schools in south Auckland's Flat Bush area.

Mr Maharey's office said the Flat Bush building programme was "the largest new schools project in New Zealand's history" and would meet population growth.

The minister will announce funding, construction timelines and school locations.
