A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck Fiordland this morning, GeoNet says.
The quake struck at 10.30am and was centred 35km west of Milford, at a depth of only 5km.
GeoNet received reports the quake was felt lightly in Te Anua, Arrowtown, Dunedin and Christchurch.
