Canterbury residents continue to stand on shaky ground after another aftershock rattled the region today.
A quake measuring magnitude 4 hit the area at 9.13am, GNS Science reported.
It was centred 6km deep and was within 5km of Christchurch.
The tremor would have been felt in central Canterbury, GNS said.
