Machete-wielding robber holds up Auckland bank

Police are hunting a machete-wielding man who robbed an Auckland bank this afternoon.

The man entered the Onehunga National Bank about 2pm and presented the machete to staff before fleeing with cash.

He was described as a fat Maori man aged about 40 years-old, with a beard.

He was wearing a black beanie, grey sweatshirt and black trousers.
