Two men, one wielding a machete, robbed an Invercargill dairy overnight, police say.
The men walked into the Night `n Day store on Dee St about 10.55pm and threatened the staff before making off with some goods, said acting Senior Sergeant Fred Shandley.
They were seen running away west on Hensley St and police were keen to hear from anyone who may have seen them.
Armed robbers hit another Night `n Day in Dunedin later in the night. The Regent Night `n Day was robbed at gunpoint about 12.30am and two bystanders assaulted.
