Expert evidence is under the spotlight with the Privy Council delivering its decision on the appeal by convicted murderer Mark Lundy tonight.
His lawyers are hoping he will be granted a retrial for the murders of his wife Christine and daughter Amber 13 years ago.
The Privy Council decision is due for release at 9pm.
The hearing was held in June in London where David Hislop, QC, argued that Lundy suffered a substantial miscarriage of justice and the verdict of the jury should be set aside because it could not be supported having regard to the evidence in the case.
Lundy's case is centered around two tiny pieces of material found on Mark Lundy's shirt, which an expert at trial said was Christine Lundy's brain tissue.
