Luck was with the Irish today for the Hugh Green Group St Patrick's Parade along Ponsonby Rd.
The sun shone and there was barely a cloud in the sky as punters in green flocked to see the festivities, which ended in Western Park where a stage had been set up for more performances.
The parade comes before the annual St Patrick's Day celebrations on March 17, this Thursday.
