The winners of last night's $13.3 million Lotto draw are "'good local people," according to a south Dunedin store owner.
The Lotto ticket for last night's draw was bought by regular customers at South Dunedin Night 'n Day, and the winners popped in this morning to confirm they were now millionaires, owner Murray Devereux said.
"They thought they had the winning ticket last night, but they weren't 100% sure," he said.
Devereux greeted them with a bottle of bubbles.
The ticket was made up of $13 million from Powerball first division and $333,333 from Lotto first division.
