Police believe Saturday afternoon's crash in Carterton between a motorhome and another car occurred when the driver of the car pulled out from Morton Rd into the path of the motorhome.
The motorhome, driven by Masterton couple Rona and Bruce Bramwell, was heading south on State Highway 2 when the crash occurred.
The crash wrecked the steering, causing the motorhome to drift into a parked car outside the Right Dairy, pinning the car against a power pole.
A family of three were about to get in the car. One of them, a woman, was thrown to the ground as the car was hit. She was treated for minor injuries, but no one else was hurt.
Masterton police Senior Sergeant Warwick Burr said inquiries were continuing.
